            HOW I STARTED

 

As with most people, I started making cakes for my children.  It was so much fun, so I took several cake decorating classes & bought many cake decorating books.  Children grown, retired, sold all my cake decorating supplies & moved to Florida.  After enjoying retirement for a while, I really missed cake decorating.  Spent tons of money to buy more & newer equipment, tools & fun stuff and opened my business, Cakes For Fun!  I'm sill constantly learning, as there are so many new things happening in the cake decorating field.  This keeps me young.  

 

I enjoy working with customers & becoming part of their celebrations, and have had some from Weddings, to Baby Showers, to Birthday Smash cakes.  Novelty cakes are my most fun projects, & working with customers to come up with unusual designs is very satisfying for all.
